Lisbon, the city of innovation, home for many start-ups and lively culture, is also a city full of vibrant secondhand fashion scene. From true vintage to pre-loved luxury designer pieces, secondhand shops in Lisbon are a lot of fun to discover.
November 2024
If you wonder through Lisbon you will discover an endless amount of little boutiques, bars and restaurants. I was especially excited to see that in this selection you will come across quite many secondhand stores as well!
When going through secondhand and vintage shops in Lisbon to create this list, I was surprised to discover many secondhand stores on the way without knowing they are there. So let me save you the trouble – here are the best vintage and secondhand shops in Lisbon to discover!
The curated and designer secondhand shops in Lisbon
While Lisbon is filled with many true vintage stores, there are still some curated, consignment and designer secondhand stores to discover, too!
Refuse
Refuse is a beautiful, fresh and luxurious secondhand shop in Lisbon. It has many designer items, but also some mid-range pieces to discover. The layout is beautiful and selection is exciting. A quircky detail, that really caught my *nose* in the store, was the smell! You know – when many of the messy thrift stores smell funny – Refuse was quite the opposite. The smell in the store was splendid. These details are what set stores apart from their competitors. What make secondhand shops stand out next to regular stores as well. Attention to detail.
Odacieuse
Odacieuse is the best kept secret of Lisbon’s secondhand shopping scene! The store didn’t even appear easily on Google Maps at first. Maybe it was becuase it is a fairly new store. Nevertheless, I was super excited to come across the shop. It is a spacious, beautifully layed out consignment style shop. You will find modern brands, some designer items but also many accessible price point items. They also have shoes and accessories. It really is a good mix of different pieces. I found a cose pink COS wool sweater for 40€. Not a bad find, is it!
POP Closet
POP Closet is the edgiest designer vintage store in Lisbon. This is your go-to spot for designer secondhand, from luxury bags, shoes to clothes. It is a fairly small boutique, but most definitely exciting, if you enjoy discovering designer items from old seasons, it’s worth visiting POP Closet. I found a beautiful red, slightly off-shoulder, Prada ready-to-wear 2009 wool jacket. It was marvellous (see it on the photo!). Unfortunately this specific piece had an unfortunate stain on its sleeve, so I had to leave it behind, but I still dream about this jacket. But you can surely find similar items in pristine condition from the store!

Best curated vintage stores in Lisbon
While the previously listed secondhand shops in Lisbon were more luxury and premium, the following are a step to a different direction – true vintage. I have divided the vintage shops into 2 categories – the more curated ones and the vintage digger stores.
Malala Vintage Lisboa
Located right on the edge of Alfama, Malala is a sweet and pretty vintage store worth a visit when in the area. Keep in mind though – Lisbon is all up and down the hill, so if the store looks close on the map, it might just be on a different hill! Overall, I loved how the store is spacious enough that you have room to browse through the vintage selection. I expecially loved the silk shirt setup, where you could find pure silk blouses in multiple colours (and in great prices!).
Amor Fati
Amor Fati is a must-visit store if you like well-curated and more spacious vintage stores. With high ceilings and neatly arranged clothing racks, it’s easy to browse though the selection. It feels a bit more on the mature side in terms of the style of the store, but it is actually filled with many edgy-cool pieces, like the wide legged red pants on the intro image of this article!
arquívos vintage
This is the vintage store, where to cool kids go. I would describe the shop as youthful with a taste of Back to the Future. So you can guess – it is a Y2K vibe and carries lots of 90’s denim and Tees. You can be sure to find unique pieces that you won’t find anywhere else. The quality of the clothes is good and the selection is easy to browse through. The store has 2 floors, so plenty to discover.
Pink Vintage Heart
Pink Vintage Heart is literally what the name says – a pink store in the heart of Lisbon filled with vintage fun! The store is relatively small, but impossible to miss! It really stands out with its pink coloured windows and interior.
Best vintage stores for diggers in Lisbon
This is the most common style of secondhand stores in Lisbon – the fairly large shops filled with vintage treasures. From leather jackets to 90’s crop tops and vintage night dresses, you’ll find anything you can dream of.
Clube Royale Vintage Shop
Clube Royale Vintage Shop is a fully vintage store, but somehow it left a feeling that is especially looked after and cared for. The store hosts different workshops and seemed lively in general (maybe I am biased as there was a small puppy of the shop keeper there as well!). The selection of clothes is mainly vintage, but interesting and accessible. You will mostl likely also find some handcrafted locally made pieces, such as scrunchies. This boutique like vintage shop is a little more down to earth and versatile than some other vintage shops in Lisbon.
Rozza vintage
When in Lisbon, one cannot pass the city without visiting the lively LX factory. Located on the 2nd floor of one of the main LX Factory buildings, Rozza vintage is all about edge and style. It is true to vintage, brings you some Y2K vvibe but also some traditional secondhand vintage items. From trench coats to colorful silk shirts and 90’s bomber jackets, Rozza vintage is a must visit when exploring the LX Factory!
Ás de Espadas vintage store and more
Rua da Conceição n.º 117 and Calçada do Carmo 42
Ás de Espadas vintage store has multiple stores in the city. It is a a vintage store in the most traditional sense. The stores are fairly packed, so naviating from aile to aile is a proper maze. But that is what vintage scavenger hunt is about, isn’t it? While you can find everything vintage from these stores, I spotted lots of leather. As I was after a skirt for a colder season, I found the perfect calf-length soft leather skirt, that makes a proper bold statement. From vintage sweaters to shirts and jackets and kimonos, Ás de Espadas vintage store is a secondhand shop in Lisbon worth discovering!
A Outra Face da Lua
A Outra Face da Lua is a very well layed out vintage store. Every type of item has its own place in the store and there is a huge amount of everything – from vintage kimonos to shirts and belts, each item section has a pretty big variety. As this is a fairly large store, it takes a lot more to find items that might be exactly for you, but if you are a vintage goodies digger, it’s worth to discover. The shop is layed into a beautiful space with high ceilings and arches, so it’s a rather beautiful visit.
