- skirt that is from a secondhand boutique in Majorca
- jumper that's reaaaally old, bought from San Francisco
- vest from John Galliano, of course secondhand from London, and re-tailored from men's coat (sleeves removed and waist taken in)
- butter-yellow hat also from ages ago

You've probably heard the term "retail therapy". The positive feeling some people claim to get from buying new clothes. I believe it's a real thing, but let's be honest - this type of therapy only helps for a couple of hours. And then, 'poof'.

But how often do you get an actual positive feeling from any clothing store? A positive feeling that you want to share with others?

Let me tell you - independent secondhand stores are the places where you'll often find this wonderful-beautiful vibe that you'll still be talking about weeks after!

In the independent secondhand shops, you often meet the owner, who has put their heart and soul into the good cause of making fashion more sustainable. You can chat about the stories of the clothes or about the industry in general. And you'll be supporting a small business instead of the leading world polluters.
